We operate our tours on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, beginning the second weekend in May and ending the first weekend in October. We offer three different tours; Eola-Amity Hills AVA Tour, McMinnville AVA Tour, and Chehalem Valley Tour. The Chehalem Valley tour covers the following AVA's: Dundee Hills, Chehalem Mountains, Ribbon Ridge, and Yamhill-Carlton.
Here is our scheduled for the 2019 season:
What is an AVA? Great question! 'AVA' stands for American Viticultural Area, simply put it is a geographical region where wine grapes are grown. All of the AVA's that we currently fly to are "sub-AVA's" of the Willamette Valley AVA.
Please note that based on passenger demand and venue schedules we may alter which AVA you visit. Each AVA tour includes three unique experiences. First you and your group will meet at a designated winery within the AVA(s) you are touring, to enjoy pre-flight festivities. (The week of your tour we will confirm where the meeting location is for your tour via email) We fly you from there to the first spectacular winery for tastings and lunch, after which we fly you to the next vineyard to sample their wines and ambience. Overall you will receive three separate experiences which includes about a half hour of flying, moving from one event to the next. If you have a particular winery you would like to visit and don’t see it mentioned here, or don’t have a group to tour with, or even a special concept of your own, please contact email@example.com to enquire about a Custom Tour. We look forward to facilitating and participating in this wonderful experience. See you soon!
**Please note that we operate our Wine Tour by AVA based off of a season basis (May-October). For a custom tour outside of our seasonal months or regularly scheduled dates, please contact our office directly at (503) 687-0108 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org**
Each tour event that is booked is based off of winery availability. The wineries that will be visited are a part of our featured wineries as seen on this website.
