Gran Moraine Winery
Though Gran Moraine is an Oregon original, its spirit harkens from France, with a focus on classic Burgundian varieties - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Nestled in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, visitors are invited to experience the distinct culture of Oregon Wine Country at Gran Moraine – a renowned vineyard and striking winery that crafts extraordinary wines.
Penner-Ash Wine Cellars embodies the spirit and passion of small producers focusing on Pinot Noir in the northern Willamette Valley, Oregon. After working for some of Napa’s premier wineries and Rex Hill Vineyards in Oregon, Lynn Penner-Ash teamed up with husband Ron Penner-Ash to launch Penner-Ash Wine Cellars in 1998. In the winery, the focus is on small lot indigenous yeast fermentation with extended cold soaks to extract a rich, fruit-focused textured mouth feel.
Yamhill-Carlton AVA Est. 2005
North of McMinnville, the foothills of the Coast Range create an AVA of nearly 60,000 acres, centered around the hamlets of Carlton and Yamhill. Low ridges surround the two communities in a horseshoe shape, with the North Yamhill River coursing through nurseries, grain fields, orchards and more than 1,200 acres of vineyard. This pastoral northwest corner of Oregon’s Willamette Valley provides a unique set of growing conditions. The Coast Range to the west soars to nearly 3,500 feet (1,200m) establishing a rain shadow over the entire district. Additional protection is afforded by the Chehalem Mountains to the north and the Dundee Hills to the east. Importantly, the coarse-grained, ancient marine sediments native to the area are some of the oldest soils in the valley. These soils drain quickly, establishing a natural deficit-irrigation effect.
Passion for Pinot with a Sense of Place is what defines Willakenzie Estate, a family owned winery located in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The winery is named after the sedimentary soil on which the vines are planted to reflect the ultimate expression of “terroir”. They are strongly committed to wines which reflect the place on which the grapes are grown, sustainable farming, clean winemaking, small production of Vineyard Designated Pinots, and more.
Our family has been farming the American West for five generations and Beacon Hill Winery and Vineyard is the culmination of over 30 years of cultivating wine grapes in Oregon. Our family has developed three unique sites in the Willamette Valley including; Chehalem Mountain Vineyard, La Colina and La Sierra Vineyards in the Dundee Hills and lastly, Beacon Hill Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. We are in the fortunate position to be able to showcase vintages from all three different estate sites. Our family’s heritage and love of farming inspires us to do our very best to enhance and highlight the best characteristics of each unique season.

Elk Cove Vineyards is named for the unique bowl shape of the property and the nearby herd of Roosevelt Elk that roams the foothills Oregon’s Coast Range Mountains.
